Packaged well, a little over 50 lbs. Directions clear but make sure you have all pieces in numerical order, and pieces are in alpha order in bags. You will need a Phillips Head screw driver with a couple different sizes depending on which screws are used. I'm used to building furniture, ( I literally put this together on my King Size Bed) but called my husband to move it for me when It was complete.It did take a bit longer than I thought to put together, but well worth the price. I have 5 cats, so this holds plenty of dry food, and great storage.
